little update:
as said in this post->http://essabre-90xx-rpi.sfb2.com/2018/08/singxer-su-1-driver-update-v4-45-06-juli-2018-v7-24-i2s-hdmi-pinout-matrix-x-sabre-pro-9038pro/ i had now the time to test the V4.45 (we had V4.36 (Singxer_USBAudio_v4.36.0_2017-11-14_DSD512.rar)) on Win10 with a Skysong (Singxer) USB-XMOS-XU208 + ES9038Q2M and it sounds great (especially also on foobar in DoP)..->Link
i surmise its slighty slightly a little bit better (almost “hypothetical 😉 )(but in foobar in DoP (DSD128) its great as said)->

so,
Audiophonics.fr has wonderful pricey DIY-things, like cheap DC-DC Converter Module 3.3-13V to +/-15V by example but also a lot of DIY-Hifi-equipment..found it originally by their ES9028Q2M Audiophonics-made “Audiophonics I-Sabre ES9028Q2M TXCO“-HAT..
can be also expensive, u have to look exactly, but as said also relatively pricey things and they resident in the EU->means shorter shipping-times (for me)..

Fourdee over at Dietpi->https://github.com/Fourdee/DietPi made a script for an automated DietPi + MoodeAudioV4B9 install..
works here (RPI3B + I2S-ES9028Q2M) fabulous and with absolut no issues (install/compile about 35-45min)..

“Currently in testing, under RPi Stretch.
Steps to test the DietPi + moOde installation:

Download the DietPi Stretch image and write to SD card: http://dietpi.com/downloads/testing/DietPi_RPi-armv6-(Stretch).7z
Download the following automated installation file http://dietpi.com/downloads/conf/moode/dietpi.txt and save it to the SD card /boot/dietpi.txt. This will automatically install moOde on 1st run.
Connect Ethernet.
Connect HDMI if you want to see the installation process.
Eject SD card, pop into RPi and power on”

(PS.: its then “dietpi/” in the browser-line and not “moode/” and the ssh-login data is: user=root and pass= dietpi)
